Zelda TP Reaches Platinum Status

A report has been released that The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Nintendo Wii has sold more than one million copies. The sales figure includes both North and South America. It is the first Wii title to acheive this status.

The game’s retail price is at $50. However, when it was released at launch day, November 19 of last year, some people that bought it were able to sell it on Ebay for $80 - $100.

Gears Of War for Xbox 360 recently reached the platinum status too. It sold more than three million copies since December 2006. Dead Rising and Lost Planet are the two other Xbox 360 games which also reached platinum status. None of the Playstation 3 games that been released has reached a platinum status yet.
