Mortal Kombat Armageddon

Shacknews has posted an interview with Shaun Himmerick who is the producer of Mortal Kombat Armageddon for the Nintendo Wii.

Based on the interview, the game can be controlled either with the Wiimote plus Nunchuk setup, the classic controller, or the gamecube controller. That’s a pretty good feature and it is probably the only Wii game that have this feature so far.

There’s a mini-game called Motor Kombat and this supports up to four players playing the game at the same time.

An “Endurance” mode will be included for the Wii version which is a single player challenge. The player will get one life bar and he or she has to fight opponents in single round fights.

Himmerick confirmed that there will be no online play for this game.

Shacknews has also asked if this version will contain the content that the developers made for the PS2 special edition and Himmerick responded that it will not be in the Wii version.
